Recoup Power Management was born from a simple observation: Vehicles and equipment are mobile power plants, yet we still rely on idling engines or inefficient generators to get the job done.
We believe in "scavenging"—capturing the energy that’s already being produced and putting it to work. Whether it’s powering a block heater in a Canadian winter or running high-draw tools on a remote job site, our goal is to eliminate waste and maximize utility.
Our mission is to move beyond "Mobile Power" and into Vehicle-to-Grid(V2G) integration, allowing fleet vehicles to stabilize the Alberta grid during peak demand and extreme weather alerts.
Become a Pilot Partner:
Recoup Power Management is actively seeking pilot fleet partners in Alberta. If you operate school buses, municipal vehicles, waste collection trucks, or commercial highway vehicles and want to turn your fleet into a distributed energy asset — we want to hear from you. No new infrastructure required. No significant fuel economy impact. Just energy your vehicles are already producing, put to work.
Pilot positions are limited. We are currently accepting expressions of interest from Alberta fleet operators.

Elias brings over two decades of hands-on construction experience and the relentless drive of a builder who sees problems as opportunities. After being laid off, he launched his own full-time landscape and construction company — and turned it into a live testing ground for Recoup, using the system daily to charge his Ego and Makita tool batteries in the field while collecting real-world performance data. He incorporated Recoup Power Management in January 2026 and has been developing and validating the prototype ever since. Elias previously developed and pitched a startup concept to CBC's Dragons' Den, and brings that same entrepreneurial conviction to Recoup. Based in Langdon, Alberta

He holds a Class 2 driver's licence with Q and S endorsements and has spent years behind the wheel of school buses, motor coaches, and oilfield camp shift buses in and around Calgary. Tim's rare combination of electrical expertise, industrial safety credentials, and deep fleet experience makes him uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between Recoup's technology and the fleet pilot programs.
